THE PARKINSON’S PROJECT… A few years ago Green Acres Farm Sanctuary’s Co-Founder and my husband John Crow was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and this project will assist his mobility around the sanctuary while also benefitting the animals. John has never let his disabilities, injuries or disease stop him from helping the animals but now he needs help to be able to continue. 

John spends hours every day picking up manure in the cow and pig areas, but the terrain has become increasingly more difficult for him to navigate. The Parkinson’s Project will build a safe and dry gravel pathways in the cow and pig areas enabling easier passage for the animals and humans especially in the winter months.
