Meet Agnus! In 2022, we received a call from a kind person who went to a Thanksgiving dinner and came home with a sweet turkey who was clearly in need of some help. She was depressed, suffering an open wound, and unable to walk due to bumble foot. Agnus needed medical care or she won’t have survived in that environment. Because of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Agnus had to isolate off-site before coming to the sanctuary, but during that time we paid for veterinary care and she completed her medical treatment. We are so thankful to the kind man that saw an animal in need, took action, and saved Agnus. We are now committed to providing her with a lifelong loving and safe home.
