We need your HELP! Green Acres Farm Sanctuary is currently home to over 200 rescued farm animals. With so many animals, many of whom had been neglected or inured, there are constant trips to the vet. For 14 years the founders have used their only vehicle a 20 year old truck for all of the sanctuary's work. While the extended cab of the founder's truck has been okay for ducks, chickens, turkeys and some goats and sheep, it doesn't work for pigs. We have had to rent cargo vans when the truck was in the shop or try to get an appointment with the traveling vet. These solutions are costly and not great in an emergency situation. Green Acres desperately need a cargo/utility van, a Rescue Van, of it's own to meet many of the sanctuary's needs. The Rescue Van will be able to transport animals easily and comfortably to the vet. It will be fundamental for rescues and in case of emergency evacuations. Plus we will be able to use it to pick up supplies in rainy weather.
