Twenty-five two year old hens that were rescued from a battery cage egg farm. They were part of a 3000 hen rescue by Animal Place. All of the hens were going to be gassed because their egg production had slowed down. We are glad these girls will get a chance to touch the ground, spread their wings, see the sky and live their life.
