A FIELD FOR HERSHEY AND FRIENDS
At three days old, Hershey came to us, a victim of the dairy industry. He was rescued when being auctioned to become veal. Hersey has grown, and the time has come to make a cow pasture at the Sanctuary that will allow us to rescue additional cows. Adding a field is costly and we need your help to raise $10,000. The first $6,500 will be used to fence approximately five acres. The next $3,500 will be used to build a barn/shelter.
PROJECT PIG PASTURE
In 2014 we hope to raise $10,000 in order to add over 2500 feet of fencing and build two 12×12 pig shelters. Once completed Project Pig Pasture will enable Green Acres Farm Sanctuary to welcome pigs in need and provide them with a safe place to just be pigs.
In order to provide our animals with green pasture to graze on we need irrigation. We have to raise $5000 in order to be able to install an efficient irrigation system to water all our current fields.
LET THERE BE LIGHT
Electricity is needed in the horse, bovine, and sheep barns. Lights and outlets would aid us in caring for the horses, cows, and sheep at night.

S.O.S (SHELTER OUR SHEEP)
Our sheep and goat herds have grown and we need to build an additional 16×36 shelter and fence in another field. Thanks to fundraising and donations the fencing is completed and we finished the barn in 2013.

CASH FOR COOPS
We are currently working on turning an old garage into two coops with large fenced yards. By creating two separate coops and yards we promote the safety and well- being of the chickens and prevent territorial disputes amongst roosters.
