A YEAR IN REVIEW

In 2013 Green Acres Farm Sanctuary took in 51 farm animals. These new residents included a 35 year old horse that would have been put down, 4 ducklings bought and mailed as a joke, and 25 hens rescued from an egg producing factory farm. We  fostered 77 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens giving at risk animals a safe place until they are able to be placed for adoption. In 2013 volunteers spent 4024 hours to help keep Green Acres Farm Sanctuary operating. With no paid employees the sanctuary truly runs on volunteer power.
