OUR LITTLEST ARRIVALS

Unfit to sell these four chicks were given to Green Acres Farm Sanctuary by a local feed store. Some of them have open wounds from being pecked and one has a deformed leg. We will get them settled in, treat their injuries and hope all four make a full recovery.

OUR NEWEST ARRIVAL

A victim of the dairy industry at only 3 days old Hershey was put up for auction to eventually become veal. As an offspring of a dairy cow, Hershey was taken from his mother so his milk could be sold to humans. Like all mammals, in order to produce milk cows must give birth. His rescuer was shocked by the cruelty of the auction process. Thankfully she paid the $7.50 fee to save Hershey and than brought him to Green Acres Farm Sanctuary. We can use your help to buy his special formula and care for his care.

OUR NEWEST TURKEYS

These rescued turkeys are the sole survivors of a larger flock decimated by predators. They arrived suffering from internal and external parasites, poor plumage and over weight. They are currently in our isolation area receiving medical treatment and a proper diet.
